Open position: BIM Manager

Location: Modane

For one of our projects between Italy and  France, we are looking for a BIM Manager who will be responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation of the BIM methodology and will be involved in all phases of the project life cycle.

Specifically, the BIM Manager will be responsible for:

  • Develop and implement BIM standards for the project;
  • Collaborate with the team to identify goals and communicate procedural changes;
  • Coordinate the process of creating, managing and verifying the digital models created (Use of clash detection software);
  • Collaborate in the identification of design solutions that optimize construction times and costs, in accordance with the methodological solutions provided by BIM;
  • Support coordination between different departments and stakeholders (project control, procurement, design, and construction) based on the centralized BIM database.
  • Lead the development of the tools necessary for the establishment of the various BIM use cases on the site:
    • Use of mock-ups for the creation of working drawings
    • Using Mock-Ups for Frontline Investigations: Photogrammetry
    • Connecting the Model to the Item Report
    • Creating 4D Stages in Navisworks

 

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Bim Manager in the infrastructure and/or construction sector
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Architecture
  • Knowledge of French
  • Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Solibri and Autocad software
  • Experience with Dalux, BIM360, Synchro, Primavera P6 preferred
  • BIM knowledge and interest in working with construction technology
  • Available to spend an initial period in France
