Document Controller

Location: Northern Europe

The document controller is responsible for ensuring that all project documents follow the company’s standards and managing the necessary documentation so that it is always updated, verified and formally approved.


  • Ensures that all project documents are checked and presented in time before the delivery date, in accordance with the internal procedures, including those foreseen and agreed with the Client, for the BIM execution of the project
  • Develops and maintains the documents control register in collaboration with the Technical Office and with the designers where required
  • Periodically checks quality and compliance of the documentation used, in accordance with the Quality Control Plan
  • Records and stores all documentation relating to the project, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants through control procedures, in accordance with internal procedures and, where required, with the CDE management system envisaged by the Customer
  • Receives and tracks plans and specifications as received, including all revisions, and distributes them to the personnel of the relevant offices (internal, designers, client, authorities, stakeholders), in accordance with internal procedures and the CDE management system expected by the Customer
  • Is responsible for processing the necessary inputs and presentations in the system
  • Supports the Technical Office in the organization and control of presentations, drawings, specifications and other project reports


  • 2/5 years experience in the role, within construction companies specialized in civil engineering and complex infrastructures
  • Knowledge of contracts and its interpretation from the design and construction point of view
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of Danish / Swedish language is an advantage
