Location: France
For one of our infrastructure projects in France, we are looking for profiles of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Specialists.
The figures will be responsible for the management and compliance with the quality, environment and safety requirements required by the contract and by current legislation and the correct application, by the organization, of the operating methods defined in the Quality, Environment and Safety Plan of the order. They will also be responsible for the preparation and revision of the Operational Safety Plan and the Environmental Protection Plan, as well as for verifying the correct application by the order functions of the operating procedures defined in the Plan.
Main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Quality, Environment and Safety Manager in the drafting of the QAS Plan;
- Prepare and update the Operational Safety Plan/Risk Assessment Document, in accordance with the Safety and Coordination Plan and in compliance with current legislation;
- Ensure knowledge and compliance with the QAS plan by all personnel involved, including assignees/subcontractors;
- Identify and propose information and training programs for workers in the QAS area, organizing them directly and/or coordinating with the competent units for the definition of specific plans;
- Organize and conduct periodic inspections to verify the application of health and safety measures, keeping appropriate records;
- Ensure the correct archiving of health and safety, quality and environmental records (minutes, reports, communications, etc.);
- Report any non-conformities found in the context of control activities to the Project Manager and Safety & Environment Manager/Site Manager, proposing appropriate corrective actions and monitoring their implementation;
- Verify all the order documentation relating to personnel, equipment, means and consequent risk assessment, both for ITINERA SPA company and the sub-contractors present on site;
- Interfacing with the CSE of the Contracting Authority and assistants, for the verification and supervision of the activities on site, verifying the application by all workers on site of the contents of the SOP (Operational Safety Plan) and PSC (Safety and Coordination Plan), participating in coordination meetings organized by the CSE (companies and external interference);
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering preferred
- Experience as a Quality, Environment and Safety Officer in the infrastructure and/or construction sector
- Knowledge of policies, regulations and procedures relating to health and safety and worker protection
- Fluent English
- Emergency management skills
- Availability for transfers
