Open position: Procurement Manager

Location: Benevento

For opportunities in our infrastructure projects located near Benevento, Central and Southern Italy we are looking for a Purchasing Manager who will be responsible for planning and operational management of the procurement process, from the receipt of requests for needs to the stipulation of contracts / orders.

Main responsibilities

  • Ensure coordination and control of related activities the purchase of goods and services in accordance with the Company’s procedures.
  • Define, in agreement with the Project Manager, the operational strategies as well as the procurement plan and / or assignments / subcontracts of the contract and take care of the related updates.
  • Manage on the basis of the procurement plan and / or assignments / subcontracts of reference:

–              taking charge of purchase requests from applicant units

–              the preparation and supervision of requests for quotation to suppliers / subcontractors

–              commercial negotiation

–              the summary tabulation of final offers

–              the stipulation of the purchase order / contract.

  • Ensure, in coordination with the Project Manager, the monitoring of the procurement plan and / or assignments-subcontracts by analyzing the causes of deviation and proposing the most appropriate corrective actions.
  • Manage relations with suppliers / subcontractors, defining the timing and terms of delivery and payment in compliance with and in consistency with the Company’s provisions.

Requirements

  • Experience of over 5 years as Purchasing Manager of infrastructure and civil projects, gained in construction companies.
  • Diploma or Degree with technical address.
  • Knowledge of SAP management software is preferred.
  • Ability to negotiate and manage a work team
