Open position: Junior Area Controller

Location: Tortona

For our Administration, Finance and Control department, we are looking for a resource to be included as Junior Area Controller, to support the coordination of activities related to administration, finance and control for our projects in Italy and abroad. The resource will report directly to one of our Area Controllers.

Responsibility:

  • Coordination and support to administrative figures at the construction sites, on the needs and activities required by the headquarters and/or the parent company;
  • Site administration support including:
    • Coordination for the development of half-yearly budgets with related reporting and support for the development of the related full-life cash flows (economic, financial and equity);
    • Support and periodic monthly control on economic, financial and asset balances;
    • Support in the development and implementation of reports based on the needs of the order;
    • Support for the implementation of information systems based on site needs;
    • Support in the verification of the Annual Financial Statements and related notes to the consortium;
    • Support in the start-up of orders in the corporate, administrative, financial and human resources fields;
  • Operational support to the Controller Area for the preparation of reports and documentation;
  • Support in the management and financial planning of orders in the closing phase;
  • Preparation of documentation and drafting of minutes for the purposes of the Technical and Administrative Committees;
  • Support to the Management, alongside the Controller Area, for control and analysis of administrative-financial and organizational issues related to pre-tender corporate documentation and organizational charts;
  • Monitoring of intercompany relationships and balances between shareholders in consortium/consortia companies;

 Requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ experience as an administrative officer, preferably gained in construction companies specialising in civil engineering or in sectors that manage their business by order;
  • Degree in Economics and preferably previous diploma in Accounting;
  • Good knowledge of the English language;
  • Good knowledge of the office package, especially Excel;
  • Knowledge of SAP is appreciated;
  • Availability to transfer in Italy and possibly also abroad, after a training period at our HQ in Tortona (AL).
